Blue and Gold in Winnipeg

The Dryden Eagles will be playing with heavy hearts Thursday night in Winnipeg High School Football.
The Eagles travel to Winnipeg to battle Kildonan East.
The Blue and Gold will be remembering one of their all-time great players, Pierre Paquin who passed away over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Coach Geoff Zilkalns says tonight’s game is secondary.
He says most of his players are close to Pierre and continue to hold strong feelings.
Zilkalns says out of respect for Pierre, they had the game moved from a Friday afternoon start, to attend his funeral.
On the field, Dryden takes on Kildonan East riding a 3-game winning streak.
Their opposition is two points ahead with a 4-1 record.
Kick-Off is 7:30.
