Dryden Grade 12 student Jamie Mesics has been named Defensive player of the week for week #5 in the Winnipeg High School Football League.
Mesics chalked up 10-tackles, 2-sacks and 1-interception in a 23-14 Eagles win against Daniel MacIntyre.
