Boat Explosion In Minaki

Five people have been injured in a boat explosion at the marina in Minaki.
Provincial Police in Kenora say a 5-metre Hurricane boat was fueling up late Friday afternoon, when the hose broke, causing fuel to be pumped into the hull of the vessel.
The boat took-in 360-litres of fuel, 160-more than it could handle.
The operator tried to start the boat when it exploded.
Two individuals remain in hospital with second degree burns.
The Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Environment have been called in to assist in the investigation.
