With several recent drownings on area lakes, the
Lifesaving Society of Canada is asking boaters to wear
their lifejackets and personal floatation devices.
Executive Director Rick Haga says it’s foolish to think
that keeping a lifejacket in the boat, and not wearing it,
will still protect you.
