Balmertown is under a “Boil Water Advisory” after Sunday’s Hydro Outage knocked out the pumps for the water supply for the village.
Red Lake Public Works advises all water must be boiled for at least one minute before being used for consumption, cooking, brushing teeth or any other use including giving to pets.
The “Boil Water Advisory” will remain in effect after power is restored and until tests confirm there is no danger.
