A boil water advisory in Hudson has been rescinded.
Sioux Lookout Public Works Manager Andrew Jewell says the notice was issued after the main pump at the Water Treatment Plant failed due to a power outage.
Jewell notes a backup pump is in place, but since there was no power, it did not turn on.
Jewell calls the situation rare and stresses the notice was issued as a precautionary measure.
