Bomb Threat At Safeway

It’s back to business at the Canada Safeway store.
The store was evacuated around 1:00 Friday afternoon after someone called in a bomb threat.
Staff and customers were quickly removed from the building as a precaution.
They took up shelter at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Dryden Police, OPP, Treaty 3 Police, Fire and ambulance personnel set up camp at the Safeway store and the area was blocked off.
Some nearby homes and businesses were evacuated as police combed the store.
No bomb was found and the OK was given around 2:30 to resume operations.
Police will now be busy to determine who called in the hoax.
