Bombardier officials say they are very disappointed the members of Unifor have decided to pound the pavement in Thunder Bay.
Talks between the company and the union have come to a stand-still and 900-workers are now on strike.
Spokesperson Stephanie Ash says there are no immediate plans for further talks and they will wait for the union to make the first move.
Ash stresses the company remains committed to working out an agreement that is fair and reasonable for everyone.
She notes the company is not apologizing for asking its employees to accept concessions and states Unifor is calling for absolutely no concessions.
