Thunder Bay’s 700 Bombardier Plant employees are walking the picket line.
Local Canadian Auto Workers Union President Dominique Pasquiliano says contract talks fell apart Tuesday afternoon over demands for cuts to the pension plan.
The workers have been without a contract since their last deal expired at the end of May.
The Thunder Bay plant builds railway cars, street cars and subway cars.
