Mayors and border officials in Canada and the United States plan to hold another summit in the next couple of months.
A meeting was held last week in Windson to discuss American regulations which would require a passport for anyone entering the United States.
Dan Onichuck is mayor of Fort Frances and represented the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association at the session.
He says one of the ideas being looked at is a slight change to drivers licences.
