About 38 homes and businesses in Kenora were without natural gas over the weekend.
Union Gas says a construction crew damaged the main line leading into the city Friday afternoon.
Andrea Stass is a spokesperson for the company and says they have brought in extra crews from across the province and Manitoba to help restore gas service.

Stass says the main line was repaired Saturday evening,
and crews have been going door-to-door ever since re-connecting customers.
She expects most homes will have natural gas again by this evening.
