Border Issues Discussed in States

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty and U-S Senator Al Franken have agreed to meet later this year to discuss ways of improving access across the Canada U-S border.
Rafferty met briefly with the Minnesota Senator last weekend in International Falls.
Rafferty says he and Franken will hold broader talks on such things the turn-back of American tourist with often decades old drunk driving charges, either this month or in the fall.
