Red Lake Operator of Water and Sewage Plants

There is a Red Lake based operator of Atikokan’s water and sewage treatment plants.
Northern Waterworks has taken over from Ontario Clean Water Agency.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says cost was the biggest factor.
Brown notes the Town will save $90,000 a year by the move.
Brown says he’s expecting a smooth transition.
