Border Numbers Down

The wet start to summer and economic conditions in the States are being blamed for low numbers at the Fort Frances and Rainy River border crossings last month.
Canada Customs says visitor numbers fell a total of 8% from June 2003.
However, officers say people shouldn’t hit the panic button stating the numbers should quickly turn around.
