Border Numbers Up Locally

A slight increase last month in the number of travellers crossing into Canada at Fort Frances and Rainy River.
The Canada Border Services Agency says more than 138,000 people crossed at Fort Frances in June, a 2% increase over last year’s figure.
Over 32,000 passed the Rainy River border, a 1% increase from June 2013 numbers.
