Expect slowdowns at Northwestern Ontario’s three border crossings starting next Thursday.
Canada Customs Officers across the Country are in a legal strike position on that date at least 30% of them are expected to hit the picket lines according to their Union.
Spokesperson Erik Lupien says the Federal Government has been offering little in contract negotiations.
Lupien adds the Canadian Border will not be shut down completely since 70% of Customs Officers are deemed an essential service.
Lupien says travelers crossing the boarder should expect delays if the strike happens.
