Both Eagle Volleyball Teams Look Good Against Broncos

The Dryden Eagle Senior Boys Volleyball team looks like another powerhouse.
The Boys cruised to a straight sets victory over the Beaver Brae Broncos at DHS Wednesday. (25-19, 25-23, 25-13)
Ryan Hron says they still haven’t hit their stride.
Hron notes they played sloppy at certain points of the game.
However, Hron says strong serving and hits helped secure the win.
The Junior Boys weren’t as fortunate dropping a thrilling 5 set match to the Broncos. (25-20, 23-25, 21-25, 25-17, 18-20)
The game was a back-and-forth affair and included a marathon 5th set.
Austin Schoolie was pleased with the tempo of the game.
Schoolie notes they played with a lot of energy but notes they still have to work on their passing and hitting.
The Juniors will play at a weekend tournament in Kenora starting Friday.
