Both Levels Of Government Now On Notice

Ontario Regional Chief Stan Beardy is putting Canada, Ontario and resource developers on notice.
Beardy was at Queen’s Park Tuesday to give formal notice that First Nations treaty rights will continue to be asserted in their original territories and ancestral homelands.
Beardy says the notice doesn’t set out a list of rights rather it sets forward several principles related to lands and resources.
