The City of Dryden has been denied Provincial funding for upgrades to sections of Duke Street in the Colonization Avenue area.
Council has been informed that the so-called ‘Connecting Link’ funding application has been turned down.
Treasurer Linda McNaughton says another major project, the establishment of a Solar Park, is at a stand-still.
Dryden is still waiting for its contract to be approved by the Ontario Power Authority.
