Break on Electricity Rates for Domtar in Dryden

Domtar is getting a break on its electricity rate for its Dryden and Espanola Mills.
The Provincial Government says Domtar is receiving an energy rebate of 2-cents per kilowatt-hour to help manage electricity costs and improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
The announcement was made through the Northern Industrial Electricity Rate program.
It will help protect 871-jobs.
Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry Michael Gravelle says the rebate will help Dryden and Espanola remain competitive and retain and attract jobs and investment, while contributing to energy conservation.
