Breast Feeding Awareness Campaign

The Northwestern Health Unit has launched a campaign, promoting the benefits of breastfeeding.
Public Health Nutritionist Julie Slack says there are a number of health benefits for babies.
Slack says breast milk gives a baby all of the energy and nutrients it needs during the first six months.
She adds the practise is easy on the environment, since it doesn’t require packaging or transport.
