In Loving Memory of George Brian Davidson Groves.
Brian Groves aged 61 years, a resident of Dryden passed away on March 18, 2003 at the Dryden Regional Health Center. He was born in Dryden on June 15, 1941 and has called Dryden his home ever since. Brian found his true niche in working with the public managing K.K. Penner & Son tire center in Dryden. For many years he assisted the traveling public as well as heavy industry operators with their tire needs. Customer satisfaction was first and foremost on his management list. Brian thoroughly enjoyed helping others, was well respected in the community, and was well known throughout the area. He had a true, kind, and generous heart. Mr. Brian Groves is survived by his loving wife Dale, two sons Rick Groves and wife Roxanna, Tom Fleming and wife Joyce, two daughters Lisa and husband Kevin Levert, Shelley and husband Barry Fediuk, nine grandchildren, sister-in-law Dale and husband Rick Hill, niece Angela and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his parents George & Anne, (baby) sister Louise, brother Bill, grandson Brandon, (baby) granddaughter Amber and nephew Todd.
There was no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Funeral Services for the late Brian Groves will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Dryden with Rev. Jody Miles officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundations or charity of choice, through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
