Remote areas in the Northwest are getting access to high speed internet.
The Federal and Provincial Governments will pay over $8-million to make it happen.
Federal Public Safety Minister Vic Toews says 3-companies are part of the plan.
There are about 4,500 households that will benefit as a result.
