The Dryden Eagles came up just short in a bid to compete in another
NWOSSA Girls Hockey title game.
The Eagles dropped a 3-1 decision in front of a packed house in Kenora
Tuesday.
Kylee Engstrom was the only Eagle to solve Amanda Kowalik who made
31-saves.
Kelsey Fuerst replied with 22 stops for the Eagles.
Dryden Co-Coach Brad Bartlett says this Semi-Final series didn’t disappoint, with 2 overtime goals and a back-and-forth physical third and final game.
Bartlett says his club entered the series as underdogs and came together as a team at the right time.
The Girls Final will start Friday between Fort Frances and Kenora.
