Idled Mill Coming Back On-Line

After 2-years of downtime, there are signs of life at the Thunder Bay
Fine Papers Mill.
The Company re-activated one of the plant’s 3-boilers with little
difficulty Tuesday.
With the boiler on, the former Cascades Mill will be heated and renovations can proceed.
The #8 Papermachine will be fully operational in April creating
180-jobs and 80,000 tons of coated paper.
When the Plant’s other 2-machines are running in October, the number of
jobs will jump to 320.
