Municipal elections, Premier McGuinty has something for you to consider.
He announced this morning plans to extend the terms of local councils
& school boards to 4 years from the current 3.
Dryden Councillor Bill Brown says the committment may be longer but
overall it is a good idea, especially for rookie members…

McGuinty also announced that the Province will spend $300 million
over the next 3 years to bring Land Ambulance costs to a 50-50 split with
municipalities.
