McCormack on ambulance $$$ 1

Municipalities will be getting more bucks for land ambulance services.

This morning, Premier Dalton McGuinty announced about 300 million dollars will be spent across the province.

Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board Manager of Health Services Dan McCormack says it’s too early to tell how much will be coming.

He was quick to add, any funds will be beneficial…

The Rainy River DSSAB covers the area from near Shabaqua east to the Manitoba border, and up to the area just south of Nestor Falls.

McCormack said the local ambulance service has an annual budget of 4.2 million dollars.
