Bruce Montague has been released on bail pending his
upcoming appeal to the Ontario Supreme Court.
The former Dryden gunsmith spent 25 days behind bars in
Kenora jail.
Montague says they haven’t heard anything further on the
appeal process.

Montague’s lawyer, Doug Christie submitted the appeal
the day after he was sentenced to serve 18 months on 26
firearms related convictions.
Montague was released late Friday night.
