The 2007 budget is nearly complete however Dryden Council has
instructed staff to take another look at trimming the capital budget.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says as it stands now they expect to
conduct twice as much work as they did last year.

Council appears to be entertaining a tax increase of about 2% in
order to avoid cuts to services and staff.
