Budget Approval Delayed

It will be the New Year when Dryden Council approves the 2008 budget.
The Municipal budget was supposed to be read into the books Monday
but was deferred to the January 7th meeting.
Finance Chair Brian Collins says council needed more time to examine
the budget and speak to various managers.
Collins notes there are no major concerns but some questions including the financing of the North Dryden Service Road.
Half of the $1.4-million costs of the service road behind the Ontario Government building is scheduled to come from reserves.
