Budget Process Underway in Atikokan

The number crunching is underway as Atikokan officials start to draft the annual budget.
Mayor Dennis Brown says it will be another difficult period for Managers with the Town under some pretty severe financial constraints.
Brown is hoping Premier McGuinty comes through with a pledge for more money for Northern communities.
He says that way officials can move ahead with capital work that has been on the backburner for years.
Brown says they hope to have the budget ready for Council early next Spring.
