A number of options are on the table to control a current jack pine
budworm infestation in the Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances Districts.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is hosting public meetings this week
to unveil its plan that could include aerial spraying or re-directed
harvesting.
Spokesperson Jason Pollard says the insect is starting to cause
problems.
