A Minaki resident sustained non-life threatening injuries after a building collapsed on top of him.
The O.P.P. say the incident took place around noon yesterday after a structure, which had been jacked up, toppled down on a man working underneath it.
Officers and some local volunteers were able to raise the
building and emergency service workers were able to crawl
underneath and slip a fracture board under the victim.
They then hauled him out with a rope attached to the board.
The man was put in the back of a pick-up truck and transferred to an air ambulence helicopter that was waiting nearby.
Police say the man remained conscious during the entire incident.
