Burn Prevention Week

The Shriners, Dryden Fire Service, Dryden Hospital, Northwestern Health Unit and the Welcome Wagon are working together to eliminate incidents of burns and scolding.
Burn Awarness Week kicks off tomorrow, and statistics released by the province show that the number of incidents in the home is on the rise among people 18-years of age and younger.
The Fire Service will visit local schools and hope to attend Long Term Care Facilities in the near future.
Packages contaning stickers and information are available at the fire station and Dryden Hospital.
