An extreme cold warning remains in effect across northwestern Ontario.
The high today is expected to reach -23, but with the wind chill it will feel more like -44.
There’s also a 40% chance of snow.
Despite the frigid temperatures, all school buses are scheduled to run Monday.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium says the threshold for shutting down bus service is -38 and wind chill isn’t factored in.
Students are urged to bundle up.
There is one school closure as a result of the cold weather.
Waabshki Penasi School in Wabigoon is closed.
