Business Group Will Be Involved In Service Review

Dryden Council has passed a resolution ensuring a group of select local business leaders will be involved in the City’s service delivery review.
A resolution was introduced by Councilor Sid Wintle Monday night.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says he’s pleased with the decision, stressing they are major tax payers and have certain expertise.
Everyone on Council agreed that having the business community involved in talks to help the city move forward is an important first step.
The exact scope of their involvement isn’t yet known, however Sid Wintle says they are planning a future meeting to determine the next course of action.
Nuttall stresses they aren’t giving this group special treatment, noting they are open to speak with everyone.
He notes the City is open for business and open for suggestions on how to move forward.
