A new business scholarship has been established at Lakehead University by Bombardier.
The transportation giant will provide $50,000 a year which will be matched on a 2 for 1 basis by the provincial government.
The five year program, worth a total of $150,000, will support two annual scholarships of $15,000.
Master’s student Christian Leisander knows the value of a scholarship.
He says it’s very important for him to finance his education, and help to pay off his students loans and pursue his goals after he graduates from LU.
