The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has avoided a last minute busing problem just in time for the start of the school year.
Manager of Transportation Judi Green says students in Red Lake will have bus service Wednesday morning.
Last month, McLeod Transportation terminated their contract with the school board.
Green says the board was surprised with the decision however says an agreement is in place with Keewatin Transportation to provide service in Red Lake for the entire school year.
Green adds the remaining nine operators across the district are ready to go.
About 55-hundred students will ride the bus this school year.
