Busy Month for Best Start

Officials with the Best Start program are busy hiring staff and nailing
down full-time daycare sites.
Cooridinator Barb Buffet says an alternate location is needed in Sioux
Lookout and a full-time facility is still needed in Red Lake.
In Dryden, 40-spaces will be created at St. Joseph’s School, while an
additional 40-will be temporarily established at the former Hillcrest School
site.
The Kenora District Services Board voted to move forward with the Best
Start program with a guarantee that there would be no increase in costs to
Municipalities.
