Busy Night For Dryden Council

It’s a full agenda for Dryden Council tonight.
A number of hot button issues are on the agenda for the 7 o’clock open meeting.
An update will be provided on the 2013 municipal budget as well as new user fees and other rate changes.
City Manager Joe van Koeverden is believed to be ready to give specifics about staff cuts.
Staff will also discuss a funding application to upgrade the King Street Underpass.
Dryden Youth Soccer Executive Gary Nickle will also address council about recreation in the community.
CKDR News has learned that the City has approached Youth Soccer and the Ball Diamonds Committee about taking over the lease and maintenance of the soccer complex and ball diamonds.
