Busy Weekend at Sandy Beach

16 teams will vye for the Championship as the 2nd Annual Dryden Mixed
Slo-Pitch Tournament starts Friday night at the Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds.
Teams from Kenora, Atikokan, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Dryden and
Vermilion Bay are all taking part in the 3-day tournament.
The round-robin is Friday and Saturday with the playoff round set for
Sunday.
On the pitch, the Dryden Senior Soccer Finals are slated for Saturday.
The women will hit the field at noon, with the men’s final planned
for 2 o’clock.
