Busy Weekend for Fire Crews

23-new forest fires were sparked in the Northwest Region on the
weekend.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Travis Moffatt says
waterbombers and ground crews were able to minimize any danger.
The largest fire was in the Red Lake area, only 6-hectares in size.
Moffatt says a majority of the fires were lightning caused and
19-remain active but pose no problems.
