Woman Charged Following 2-Vehicle Crash

A 27-year-old Clearwater Bay woman has been charged following a
2-vehicle collision Friday evening between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
OPP say the driver of a pick-up truck was passing a tractor-trailer and
met an oncoming transport near Bee Lake.
As the approaching transport attempted to move out of the way, the
pick-up lost control and struck a rock cut.
Shannon Skabar was tranported to Kenora Hospital and treated for
non-life threatening injuries.
She has been charged with careless driving.
