Busy Weekend For Police In Big Trout Lake

On Friday evening, Provincial Police were conducting a RIDE Program, and charged 49-year-old Stephen Chapman with impaired driving.
The same day, police responded to a disturbance call and charged a man with one count of domestic assault.
Police say they will not release his name at this time to protect the identity of the victim.
The following day, police held another RIDE check and an ATV failed to stop at the site.
Police eventually arrested 19-year-old Garry Sainnawap and charged him with one count of flight from police, resisting arrest and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 6th.
