Development Plans In Winnipeg

An Ontario flavour to a major plan in Winnipeg.
Ontario-based Fortress Real Developments and the Mady Development Group have announced plans for a new mixed-use skyscraper in downtown Winnipeg.
Officials call it the largest free-standing building between Toronto and Calgary.
The planned skyscraper will be located at the corner of Gary Street and Graham Avenue.
Mayor Sam Katz called the plan “perfect” for Winnipeg because it promises residential, retail, commercial, and parking spaces in the city’s troubled downtown core.
