The Dryden Regional Airport has been bustling with activity this year
with over 14,000 aircraft touching down.
Manager George Friesen says 2006 is probably the 4th busiest in over
20-years thanks in part to the fire season.
Last year, the Airport recorded a little more then 11,000
movements.
Friesen adds passenger service was back to normal levels after a
tough 2005.
He notes the Airport saw a wide range of planes including
ultra-lights and 737’s.
