Cabinet Features One Northern MP

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has unveiled his Cabinet.

Kenora MP Bob Nault will not be sitting at the table, however the region is represented by Thunder Bay-Superior North rookie MP Patty Hajdu.

She will serve as Minister of Status of Women.

Other key appointments include Carolyn Bennett as the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs.

There is representation from Winnipeg in the inner circle.

Jim Carr has been named Minister of Natural Resources, while MaryAnn Mihychuk is Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour.

Justin Trudeau is taking on an additional two portfolios; Inter-governmental affairs and Youth.
