A group of local players will lace up the skates Friday against a tough opponent.
They will face the Montreal Canadiens Alumni.
Caley Boyd and Chantelle Goulet-Kiddie were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday to promote the event.
Boyd says a team consisting of young players will also hit the ice between the second and third intermission to play against the legends.
Game-time is 7:30 and there will be a social at the Best Western following the game.
Tickets will be sold at Safeway today from 4 until 8 and are also available at Shear Perfection, Time-Out Sports or from any Minor Hockey player.
