The Dryden Fire Service is urging all homeowners to install carbon
monoxide detectors and to make sure their working.
Crews responded to a record number of carbon monoxide alarms last year,
and Chief Darryl Herbert stresses the monitors save lives.
Herbert says the alarms should be replaced after 10-years.
He notes most of their calls relate to old alarms going off for no reason.
