The Federal Government is looking to increase economic opportunities for women in Northwestern Ontario.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says “Opening Doors” is a call for proposals that will focus on three key areas.
Advancing women in non-traditional occupations, increasing economic options for women in general and improving prosperity for immigrant women to Canada.
Rickford says for Northwestern Ontario, the focus on advancement in non-traditional roles is extremely important for the future of women in sciences, trades and technology.
